On February 24, 2017, Pepin Academies Riverview celebrated its new permanent campus with a community ribbon-cutting event. Members of the Pepin Academies Foundation Board, Pepin Hillsborough Board, community friends and supporters, faculty and students attended.

Students led the Pledge of Allegiance, singing of the National Anthem and tours of the campus. Ceremony speakers included Tom Pepin, founder, Pepin Academies; Dr. Jeff Skowronek, chair, Pepin Hillsborough School Board and Pepin Academies Foundation Board; Ken Hagan, Hillsborough County Commission; Sally Harris, Hillsborough County School Board; Elijah Heath and Tanya Doran, Greater Riverview Chamber of Commerce; Dr. Craig Butz, executive director, Pepin Academies Hillsborough; and Geri Henry, associate principal, Pepin Academies Riverview.

Rounding out the celebration was a virtual congratulations from Governor Rick Scott and Hillsborough Schools Superintendent Jeff Eakins.
