The Pepin Academies Foundation is excited to announce a donation of $170,000 from the proceeds of the 2018 Avila Charity Tennis Tournament (ACTT)!  The gift was celebrated with a formal check presentation on October 11th at the Tampa Campus.  This is the largest donation from the ACTT in its 26 year history and the largest of its type to Pepin Academies.  The 2018 tournament was held April 12-15th and the money raised has provided much-needed technology for our campuses including the purchase of smart boards for all core-curriculum classrooms.

During the check presentation, members of the ACTT planning committee visited a Pepin high school classroom where students demonstrated how they use the smart boards to learn with a fun competition.  Members of the ACTT planning committee attending to present the check were: Yeon Thomas, Mark Nouss, Roger Cypriano, and Sandy Callaghan.  Tom and Lauren Pepin also attended the presentation along with Dr. Jeff Skowronek, Pepin Academies Hillsborough executive director; Monika Perez, Pepin Academies Tampa principal; and Geri Henry, Pepin Academies Riverview principal.   The Avila Charity Tennis Tournament (ACTT) chooses charities from Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas counties that serve children and youth and where their gifts will make a significant impact.

Pepin Academies is proud to have been the recipient of the 2018 ACTT and we are very excited to be the recipient of the 2019 ACTT which will take place March 29-31, 2019 at Avila Golf & Country Club.  For more information on registering to compete or to sponsor this prestigious event and support Pepin Academies, please click on the link below.
